In March 2026, PITO proudly co-hosted the “Connecting Guangzhou, Co-Creating the Taste of the Future” Spring Gathering and Ingredient Tasting Event alongside the Guangning Culinary Association. The event was successfully held at the Chaozhou Greater Bay Area City Reception Hall.

Connecting the Greater Bay Area Through Culinary Innovation

Guangning, known as the “Hometown of Cantonese Chefs,” is rich in culinary heritage and local agricultural resources, particularly its bamboo-based ingredients. By anchoring this event around Guangzhou, a key gastronomic hub in the Greater Bay Area, the association aims to strengthen connections between ingredient sourcing, chefs, and the hospitality industry.

As a leading hospitality tableware manufacturer, PITO played a key role in elevating the event through its premium ceramic solutions—bridging cuisine, presentation, and dining experience.

Premium Ingredient Showcase with Professional Evaluation

The event featured a curated ingredient exhibition, where over ten high-quality suppliers presented a diverse selection of products, including:

  • Local bamboo-region specialties from Guangning
  • Premium seafood
  • High-quality beef and cross-regional specialty ingredients

Displayed on PITO’s high-end ceramic tableware, each ingredient’s natural color, texture, and quality were fully highlighted.

Cantonese master chefs conducted on-site evaluations, carefully assessing ingredient quality, taste, and cooking performance. In-depth discussions with suppliers on sourcing and supply chain ensured a rigorous “farm-to-table” selection process—critical for high-end dining operations.

Experiencing Chaozhou Porcelain Craftsmanship

During the event, attending chefs were invited to visit the PITO Intangible Cultural Heritage Chaozhou Blue-and-White Porcelain Museum.

From clay preparation and wheel throwing to glazing and firing at 1320°C high temperature, the tour showcased the integration of traditional craftsmanship and modern design.

“Taste of the Future” Banquet: Where Cuisine Meets Tableware

The highlight of the event was the themed banquet held in PITO’s multifunction hall, where selected ingredients were transformed into innovative Cantonese dishes.

PITO’s porcelain tableware played a crucial role—not just as serving vessels, but as an essential element of visual presentation and dining experience design.

Featured Culinary Highlights

  • Surf & Turf Innovation: Lobster paired with roasted pork, presented on partitioned plates to balance contrasting flavors
  • Wellness Cuisine: Stewed pigeon with five-finger peach root, served in refined porcelain bowls to enhance traditional Lingnan dietary culture
