Im Juli 16, PITO co-hosted the Overseas Chinese Empowering the Economy · Guangzhou Connecting the World business exchange event with Haizhu Overseas Chinese Reception Hall.

The event focused on the hospitality supplies industry. It brought together overseas Chinese entrepreneurs, business associations, and representatives from the hotel and restaurant sectors across the Greater Bay Area.

The gathering created a platform for business networking, kultureller Austausch, and industrial collaboration. It also encouraged stronger connections between Guangzhou, Chaozhou, and overseas Chinese business communities.

Guests first visited the PITO Chaozhou Blue and White Porcelain Cultural Museum. They explored traditional blue and white porcelain artworks alongside original contemporary porcelain collections.

During the guided tour, visitors learned about the history of Chaozhou ceramics, the preservation of traditional craftsmanship, and PITO’s efforts to transform cultural heritage into modern commercial value.

The visit also demonstrated how intangible cultural heritage can create new opportunities for hospitality, restaurant tableware, and cultural creative industries.

Alongside the museum tour, the event featured a themed marketplace dedicated to food, beverages, hospitality supplies, and tabletop products. Premium brands from different sectors showcased their products and services.

Supported by Haizhu Overseas Chinese Reception Hall’s global overseas Chinese business network, participants exchanged ideas on supply chain cooperation, brand partnerships, und Markterweiterung. The open networking environment encouraged meaningful business conversations and future collaboration.

Guests enjoyed authentic Neapolitan handmade pizza, recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, together with traditional roasted whole pig specialties. The dining experience encouraged relaxed conversations and strengthened relationships among participants.

One of the highlights was the blue and white porcelain painting workshop. Guests painted ceramic pieces by hand and experienced the unique charm of Chaozhou’s traditional ceramic craftsmanship.
