During this visit, PITO · GBI specially showcased the lampworking glass firing technique and meticulously created an artistic work of the white flower nun orchid, the national flower of Ecuador. Through the delicate lampworking glass firing, PITO · GBI vividly recreated this orchid symbolizing Ecuador, showcasing the deep connection and artistic integration of Chinese and Ecuadorian cultures.
In-depth cultural exchange, enhancing friendship
Throughout the visit, Consul General Edwin Martínez and the PITO team had in-depth exchanges. The Consul General stated that the people of Ecuador are very interested in Chinese ceramic culture, especially traditional handicrafts like blue and white porcelain, and these artistic works can be introduced to more Ecuadorian friends through cultural exchanges in the future.
