En enero 22, 2026, the cultural salon “Low-Carbon Action: Green Cuisine Starts with Everyday Life” was held at the Chaozhou Greater Bay Area Urban Reception Center. Initiated by documentary filmmaker and author Ms. Li Lingling, together with Zhen Wendong ASEAN Culinary R&D Center, the event brought together consuls’ spouses and international guests from Kazakhstan, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canadá, Spain, Corea del Sur, Georgia, y más allá.
Amid refined dining settings curated with Vajilla de porcelana de pito, guests engaged in an intimate cultural exchange exploring the relationship between food culture, environmental awareness, and contemporary lifestyles.

Low-Carbon Cuisine as a Cultural Practice

During the salon, EM. Li Lingling shared insights drawn from her newly released book Low-Carbon Living: Green Cuisine at Your Fingertips, in which she examines how sustainable food choices reflect deeper cultural wisdom and environmental philosophy. Her long-standing experience documenting global leaders and cultural figures lent the discussion both intellectual depth and human warmth, resonating strongly with the international audience.
The salon transformed abstract concepts of sustainability into tangible experiences—where food, conversation, and tableware collectively conveyed a mindful approach to everyday living.
ARRIBA: Where Craft Meets Sustainable Living
As a porcelain brand deeply rooted in Chinese ceramic heritage while continuously innovating for contemporary use, PITO has long been committed to integrating traditional craftsmanship into modern hospitality and dining experiences. The collaboration with Ms. Li reflects a shared belief that tableware is not merely functional, but an extension of lifestyle values.

Throughout the event, a carefully curated menu was presented using PITO’s bone china dinnerware collection. From the delicate warmth of traditional Cantonese dessert ginger milk, to the crisp texture of sweet and sour shrimp, and finally the pure simplicity of steamed fish, each dish was enhanced by the subtle glaze, refined form, and balanced proportions of the porcelain beneath it.

The natural tones and tactile warmth of porcelain highlighted the true colors and textures of the cuisine—allowing the food to speak for itself.
Sustainable Tableware for Hospitality and Everyday Dining
Beyond aesthetics, porcelain embodies sustainability through durability, longevity, and reusability. Its ability to withstand time and repeated use quietly reflects a low-carbon, responsible approach to dining, particularly relevant for hospitality tableware, Restaurantes de excelentes comidas, and luxury hotels seeking sustainable solutions without compromising elegance.

As guests held porcelain cups and plates in hand, they experienced firsthand the distinctive warmth and restraint of Chinese ceramics—often described as “warm to the touch.” In this shared moment, porcelain became more than tableware; it served as a cultural medium, transcending language and geography, and conveying an Eastern philosophy of respect for nature and materials.

A Dialogue on Contemporary Lifestyle Aesthetics
This cultural salon, co-created by PITO and Ms. Li Lingling, was not simply an encounter between cuisine and ceramics. It was a thoughtful exchange on lifestyle aesthetics, sustainability, and the evolving role of objects in daily life.

PITO believes that true heritage lies not in preservation alone, but in renewal—allowing time-honored ceramic techniques to evolve and remain relevant within modern living and global hospitality contexts. Mirando hacia adelante, PITO will continue to use porcelain as a bridge for cultural dialogue, collaborating with creators, thinkers, and institutions worldwide to explore new possibilities for porcelain tableware, ceramic art, and sustainable dining experiences.

Through each piece, PITO remains committed to contributing quietly yet meaningfully to a more refined, responsible, and beautiful way of living.
